On the afternoon of May 22, 2017, ZJU-CMRC held its first meeting of the first session of the council at the School of Management. The meeting was chaired by Professor Wu Xiaobo, Dean of the School of Management. Executive Chairman Dr. Chen Jun and members of the Council, the core research team of the center, altogether a total of 12 people attended the meeting. 

Through the study and discussion, the meeting agreed to the ZJU-CMRC new council members list as the same as that of Goldport Capital Research Fund Council Zhejiang University Education Foundation Management Institute, and agreed to add Prof. Huang Ying as vice chairman, Mr.Liu Qiui as the academic secretary, and Miss Zhang Qiaoli as the administrative secretary of the Council. 

The new council reviewed and adopted the ZJU-CMRC charter. 

Professor Huang Ying, Director of the Center, briefed to the board members on the work plan and the special fund budget of 2017. The meeting required the center to strive for the goal of "continue to practice the innovation and entrepreneurship spirit, through student training, product technology creation, value creation, and striving to be first-class”. The council also put forward some other constructive opinions and requests for the center.
